HELLO IT SAYS I CAN FILE MY N400 BASE ON MARRIAGE BY DECEMBER BUT I AM LEAVING THE COUNTRY FOR 5 MONTHS AND PLAN TO FILE IT WHEN I COMEBACK.. IS'T TRUE THAT I WOULD HAVE TO MAKE UP FOR ANOTHER 7 MONTHS SINCE I LEFT FOR 2 MONTHS LAST YEAR?

You can file as long as you do not travel outside the country for a total of 18 months when added up together.

Also - make sure you return before 6 months elapse while you are outside the country.

The two rules that talk about this are physical presence and continuous residence...
