Ok so i got the letter from my bank stating i made $43,000 in deposits over the last 12 months, problem is on paper W2's 1040 etc i only made $23,000 will this be questioned at the interview of my fiancee? I started this year selling snowcones/funnel cakes on weekends at festivals and events but havnt filed taxes on the income yet and i dont consider it my job just something i do on the side. Should she even show or take the bank statement stating 42k in deposits? And if she does should she just explain it just like i said here, i had no idea i made so much more than my normal income selling Snowcones lol.

P.S 6k of that money was something i sold on ebay for a friend and didnt go in my pocket.

No. You had other income. When I submitted my I-134 and I-864 I had several different "numbers". For one thing, I get reimbursements from my job for various expenses which I pay with my own AE card. I get these in the form of a check and it is easily $1000 plus per month. That shows up as a "deposit" but it is not "income" I also had some considerable non-taxable income that was deposited but was not claimed on the 1040 because it is exempt. So I had different numbers for income, deposits and Income Tax returns. No problem. They all exceeded the guidelines and we were never asked a question about it.

Be sure to claim ALL your income on the I-134, it is not just taxable or w-2 income that qualifies.

Answer truthfully and support your answers with documents. They are not auditing you
