NVC finally sent an email for appt date in sep2011.

Called NVC as we would like to change it to another date, but NVC said "out of their hand" & i have to call the consulade in Ciudad Juarez (CJ) to change the appt date myself.

Fine, so i call the CJ, i was told i have to call back a month later (or 1 (one) day AFTER the appt date has passed) in order for CJ to "re-schedule" for a new date!!!

Has anyone has the same problem?

CDJ is extremely busy--the busiest consulate in the world--and they are very picky. Call again to be 100% certain that you understand exactly what they want, and then follow their procedures to a tee--they are extremely easy to deal with if you do exactly what they say--no more, no less
