Many of us go for months and some even a year or so with out meeting our SO. When the time finally comes close I always find my self running around like a chicken with out a head trying to prep for the reunion. LOL I throw on the facial masks start bouncing up and down trying to lose the weight I gained by sitting for hours online looking up immigration stuff. jajajajaj Am I lone on this? When my hubby is not around I could care less about impressing any one. Only when I’m around my hubby I'm motivated to put on some nice eye shadow and some lips stick. I feel motivated to do all the crazy girly things women when I’m around my hubby it feels like Im zapped with life again.

I will be meeting my hubby again in a few months and I’m trying to get my self polished up LOL I just find it funny how I’m running around trying to do all these things so I can be new and improved when I see him again. I have 8 weeks to count down. “The things we do for beatuty.”

I just thought it would be nice if any ladies would like to share their funny stories or beauty secrets. I for one will tell you that if you have an aloe Vera plant sitting in your garden it’s time to put it to good use. Cut a stem from the very bottom of the plant, rinse it and cut about 2 inches off the aloe vera stem. Store the rest in a zip lock baggy and refrigerate it. You have a weeks supply in the fridge to give your self an aloe facial daily. Wash your face real good then with a knife peel one side of the aloe cutting off the thin layer of green skin. Apply the white jelly stuff directly to your clean face. Keep applying all the aloe till the strip has no more aloe coming out if it, and leave it on for the night. You will feel that your skin tightens up right away. If you do this for a week you will see major results. My skin, blemishes and everything cleared up now my facial dermis is so smooth. I just thought you ladies might want to give it a try instead of wasting your money on expensive products. Also if you want to get even faster results after the aloe dries up apply get a vitamin E gel cap and pop it and apply the vitamin directly to your face.:D

I wish I had taken before and after pictures but trust me it works. Well that’s my tips for facials any one have any more beauty tips they like to share?

Has any one ever heard of mesotherapy to rid fat? Any feed back?

Yup, if he doesn't like me as I am...well that's his loss. Luckily he does...so we are both happy.

I can honestly say, apart from making sure I had shaved my legs and armpits, I didn't do much. Spending 9 hours on a plane REALLY doesn't do you any favours in the beauty department. Fuzzy hair, bleary eyes and a temper to match (after getting through US immigration)!

Hell, he was lucky to even get a smile from me at that point.... :D

this will be interesting to read.. i need some tip

umm.... if it's a special time.. i'd put a lipstick on or may be curl my hair.. or else just comb my hair, put on daily cream and a baby powder..and I'd just leave my hair to dry by itself (took like 45 mins) I think i need to take care of myself more than this

edit to say - i'm lucky (well most asian girls are lucky) that they dont have long or think or some doesnt have at all legs hair.. I've never shave my legs until i came here.. it's just not something we do in Thailand.. and I only shave now only when on special day in summer.. I hate shaving my legs anyway

Aye. If I had met Sian getting off of the plane and she had on lipstick and eyeshadow, I would have 1) left 2) wondered who the hell was impersonating Sian.

Sian is just naturally gorgeous; she doesn't "need" makeup. In quotes because I don't think ANY woman needs makeup. Makeup is like painting an old car with water colours. What you thought you 'bought', and what you actually have after a good rain are two different things. I consider it to be an unfair business practice.

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.

I have natural beauty. but make up is fun to wear. my husband loves RED LIPstick.

makes him melt like butter. being an airline professional make-up is a requirement.

Yeah yeah, you're just biased. Sweet of you to say it though. :luv:
