Hi everyone this is my first time posting(on my fiancee`s account) but i read this page and the great advice is awesome!! Of course no matter how prepaired you may be it seems like the questions are endless :crying:

we have a few questions and any help would be great!!

1.- I (the petitioner) am only 22 years old and have been working steady for 3 years and make enough money to be over the poverty line. My fiancee is 27 years old, is there any problems here becasue the age gap???

2.- Our case has been sent to the NVC and we recieved the letter conferming that they will send it to Juarez (letter dated june 28) and we are prepairing for the next steps. Its been one month and a half we have not heard anything is this normal or did something get lost?? does anyone have advice on what to do and who to call. We have called the Juarez embassy and they said "it will be 3 or 4 weeks for the interview letter (package 3 or 4?) to arrive" this was on the fifth week LOL. whats next?

3.- The site is vauge on which forms are nessasry for our K1. Is the I-864 needed, I am the sole petitioner with no co-sponser for my fiancee. We know that we need a

* copy of our whole I-129F

* Letters of intent to merry(affirming content to merry still)

* I-134, DS-156, DS-156K, DS-230 (we are trying to open this with our case number and birth date like the page states but we cant access this what should we do we sent an email to NVC with no answer for 4 days)

* Economic proof, our passports, birth certificate, pictures how they want them

* Relationship proof ( pictures, phone calls, etc, etc, etc..) and all the letters we recived from USCIS and NVC

Are we heading in the right direction or are we doing something wrong??

Thank you very much for any help it is appreciated, the wait is unbearable even know i make trips to see her and she comes up to see me. Of coarse your nervous no matter how much you work at it.

theres a gap of 5 years wich i dnt see any problem maybe 10 will be.

I think you should call the consulate 1 month and a half seem like along time. It took a month for my fiance and i to get the invitation letter from the consulate (packet3) we got it in the u.s address also.

are you trying to access to the DS-260 case number and birth date? cuz they dont ask you that the ask you for case number and invoice number.

you have pretty much everything but you missing the visa pictures.

Yes that is a long time to be waiting for your Packet 3 ! I'm sure that warrants a call to your embassy.

You could also call the State Department 202-663-1225. Have your NVC case number and Date of Birth for both of you ready.

They can tell you when exactly it left the NVC, and when your Embassy received and logged it.
