Hello,

I am applying for my K-1 Visa and I just received Packet 3 from the Montreal Consulate. I am trying to follow the instructions to sign up for a DHL courier location but I'm having problems.

I have followed the instructions exactly from my Pkt 3 letter and instructions given on CSC website. After selecting Montreal as the consular location, I am not given the option to choose a DHL location. Instead I am directed to a Visa information page.

Am I doing something wrong? Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions or help would be great!!

Thanks!

No absolutely no DHL location at all.

I am able to select my consular location (Montreal). After clicking submit, I am taken to a Visa Information page. No option to select DHL location.

I have my forms ready to send back to the consulate, but stuck now on how to get it there.

I have emailed the CSC twice now, all I get are automatic responses that are have not worked. I can't even find a number for the CSC call centre to try and talk to a real life person.

Guys,

I am having the exact same issue.........don't give me and option for selecting the location. It directly goes to Visa information page.

Help would be appreciated. Could we just call DHL instead and make the arrangements????

Regards,

Sue

You have to be registered through the CSC site.

As I recall, when I was signing up for DHL, I had to click around on the site until I found something. Try 'Register for Courier' services -- it might look like you are scheduling an interview, but I think it will take you to an area where you choose your DHL branch. After this, if you keep clicking next, it will take you to the interview screen, and at that point you'll need to stop.

Good luck. Keep playing around with it, it's a little hidden.

I had the same issue a few months ago. If you have registered on CSC website and it still won't show up, they can fix your DHL registration problem if you email them at : contactus_en_CA@usvisa-info.com. You will receive a "don't call us we'll call you" generic answer but in a few days, they will actually reply saying they have registered your DHL location.

Here is the information you need to send so they can help you set it up :

Applicant ID # :

Case Number :

Passport number :

Date of birth :

Name in passport :

DHL Location :

Good luck!

Edit : typo.

Have u guys had your interview date yet? If not you want to contact the NVC and ask them how to mail the documents to them.

K-1 people do not send ANYTHING to NVC. You need to be careful when advising to read what they are applying for.

Figured out the problem I was having!

Once you reach the information page, keep on clicking "continue". It will take you to an "add family members" page, and afterwards it will be a page where you can select your DHL courier location. My own fault for not investigating more thoroughly.

Thank you for the helpful hints everyone!

oddly enough, when i tried this it didn't work. i got the generic answer, then they wrote saying that they can't help with visa stuff and that i should contact the embassy. what's funny is that they listed the few things they could help with, and DHL was one of them. i just sat there at my computer being all, "THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I ASKED YOU FOR!"

that said, when i got packet 4 and went ahead to book an interview, it let me select my DHL. so i wouldn't worry too much about not being able to do it before that.
