Hello everyone! We got approved July 24, 2011. We got the visa case number thru phone call from NVC August 5, 2011. They said they forwarded everything to the US embassy. What is next? Can I know sched my interview by just giving them the visa case number? or I should wait for further instructions from the US embassy and wait for them to give me a hardcopy of something? thanks a lot, any further instructions that will apply to my situation will be appreciated!

HI.. I have seen that you are a K1 beneficiary? maybe you mean is the MNL case# and not the visa# as its given after the USEM interview...If you got the MNL case# you can fee the visa Fee at BPI and schedule online and have medical.. dont wait for the elegibility letter as for me I have finished my interview and passed and will Fly to USA but up to now didnt recieve the letter from them.. so go on and start what is needed..goodluck

Yeah you can call and get the manilla case number then go to the online website and read the instructions, schedule interview print the confirmation page needed for St Lukes and down load the forms. Thats what many have said because the letter may be very late. Jim.

To clarify, just because NVC is done does not mean Manila has the case yet. My understanding you need to call the embassy and if they have your case number you can go to the website. some have said it is 2 weeks from NVC before manila has the case and it gets a manila number. Jim.
