Hello everyone, can my husbands sister be his I-130 visa sponsor? I am the first sponsor but i dont work in the US, i live and work with my husband in his country. But his sister is a permanent resident in America for five years now, I think it says a permanent resident can be a joint sponsor? I hope someone can answer me.

Thanks so much in advance, sweetcitywife

Not for I-130, no joint sponsors there. She can be a joint sponsor for I-864. You'll always be the primary sponsor for I-864. All you'll need from her is copy of her green card, last three year of taxes and filled out I-864.
