Hey,

i got a few questions about all the paperwork i gotta send for the NVC. I just sent the ds-3032 and got the reply from the NVC.

Now, do i have to send all the papers they need from me (beneficiary)to the NVC by myself after they asked for it? or better send it to my spouse in the states, so he can send the AOS stuff and my package off together. cause if i wait until NVC tells me to send them my paperwork, then the timeframe until they will receive my package...its just a waste of time, isnt it?

how did you all do that, i am a little confused...

thanks for the help

  1. Call NVC and get your Invoice Identification Number.
  2. Use this link and go to the payment web site of NVC https://ceac.state.gov/CTRAC/Invoice/signon.aspx and logon using NVC Case number and Invoice Identification number (use Petitioner).
  3. You will find two payments to be made (the AOS fee is the first one ready to be paid - USD 88.00). Pay it using your checking or savings account - will need bank routing number and bank account number. Similarly, when the IV fee shows up pay that USD404.00.
  4. After 2-3 days of payment, the status of these payments changes from "IN PROCESS" to "PAID". Once it is "PAID", you can print the Cover Sheet with bar code.
  5. These Cover sheets must be sent along woth with your I-864 packet (AOS cover sheet) and DS-230 packet (IV Cover sheet).
  6. Read this link to find out how to prepare the I-864 http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.5af9bb95919f35e66f614176543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=b70f8875d714d010VgnVCM10000048f3d6a1RCRD&vgnextchannel=7d316c0b4c3bf110VgnVCM1000004718190aRCRD
  7. Read this link to find out how to prepare the DS-230 http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3194.html
