i am married to american guy here in the philippines, last july 19 me and our 1 yr old child had interviewed at the US embassy manila together with my american husband, since we applied for the tourist visa the officer asked me why we didn't apply for fiancee or immigrant visa,so i answer we have no plan to live in the US and we just want to visit my husband family, especially his mother that been wishing to see our child that she never seen in person.i brought a lot of tittles and all our different bank books, since we have a export business here so we have couple bank accounts the officer didn't ask any of those.the only two papers wants to see was our child birth certiticate and our married license, unfortunately i forgot to bring our married license with me but i got our daughter BC,the officer said well the baby is approved already, but u are on hold becoz i dont have our married license,he said once u send me ur NSO license ur visa will be approve so he gave me 221g green form.after after 4 working days we recieved our daughter passport with Multiple visa valid until 2021,its been 6 days since i sent our NSO married certificate until now i haven't recieve my passport with visa yet..is there anyone has the same problem like mine?

any advice or help will be much appreciated..

The baby was approved for a multiple visa??? :wow:

I thought 18 years below are not qualified for any kind of visa if he/she has claim to US citizenship... This must be new with the US embassy manila huh?

My advice for your visa is to contact the embassy to inquire about its status. Congratz and good luck!

Hi Cameron...I don't think you have a problem. It's normal for the Embassy to take more than six days to process a case when a 221g is involved. The same thing happens with fianc(é)e visas and spousal visas.

Enjoy your around-the-world trip! :)
