Hooray1 I just got the e-mail from NVC with the case number and what not.

I was told to go to this page:http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_5164.html

Lima, Peru, where we will be interviewed requires online

DS-260, Online Immigrant Visa Application & Registration, and DS-261, Choice of Address and Agent

My husband already e-mailed the choice of address and agent, but looks like we can do it online.

Should we just log onto the site and start working on these two forms? Do we still log onto the other invoice site?

Thanks!!

I just got another message from NVC. My husband did the online choice of agent form, but we got another 4 page pdf that had information on paying the AOS fee. However, in that form, it also had the choice of agent sheet to be filled out.

I'm a bit confused!!

it says i can login and pay AOS now.. but to what site?? where i already was for choice of agent?

thanks!

If your husband already sent the DS-3032, don't bother with the DS-261 as it's the same form, just sent online. In a few days, you should get an email in response accepting the DS-3032.

As for the DS-260 (online version of the DS-230) is only available to be filled out after the IV bill appears as PAID.

The email you just got is the initial information package that is emailed to everyone. Just ignore the DS-3032 that was included. It's for people that don't know about emailing the DS-3032.

As for the AOS, you have to log in here: https://ceac.state.gov/CTRAC/Invoice/signon.aspx with your case number and IIN. This is the site where you will pay the AOS and IV bills.

I also have e-mailed the DS-3032 and also did the online version DS-230. Hopefully that won't confuse anyone!!

The site you linked is where you do the online forms, although they have a section with bills that re-directs to the link I gave above. It's pretty much the same site, although those that aren't eligible for online forms really don't use the site you linked.

When you say you did the online version of the DS-230, do you mean DS-3032? It's not possible for you to fill out the online DS-230 until your IV bill appears as PAID.

It was probably a bad idea sending both the DS-3032 by email and then doing the online DS-261. Hopefully NVC won't be confused with the 2 Choice of Agent forms for your case wacko.gif
