Pls Help, what is A# from Adjustment of status?

Hey guys,

I am so confused now while im editing my form for Adjustment of Status. What is all about an A#? is that my Visa #? is it different from the other...i will be sending my form tomorrow but not yet finished filling the form.

Your A# should be written on your I-94 you got when entering the country. At least that's where ours is! Hope it's there for you.

I thought the A# or Alien # is the number on the Visa beginning with an A and ends with 8 numerical digits?

I wrote the visa # (in Red) from the passport - that was wrong but the interviewing officer just crossed it out, wrote the correct # and had her resign the I485. No big deal. Good Luck

Yes, that sounds like an A# - but not all consulates put the A# on the visa.
