Suppose my kids are coming here with approved visa but they only have their passport less than 6 months with them will the officers or consulate let them fly to US or they have to wait out 6 months? Is there an exception for children or is this even an effective policy still? They will be coming from Philippines.

no issues with a brand new passport... no exception required

You are thinking backwards...

you have to have a passport that has more than 6 months valid left on it or you cant travel. The new passports are FINE.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

It is better for u to have them a new passport. The passport shud be valid at least 6 months..if it's less then it wont hurt u if u get a new one.
