For a foreign marriage certificate, can you send the one page (similar to u.s. type) instead of sending the long version certificate? Or do I need to send both?? I ask because the translation of the short version will be much cheaper than translating the long version. But I would rather pay now and save some time down the road if I need to!! Anyone fluent in both languages can do the translation. Below is the criteria directly from USCIS that has been used many times. The certification is simply the statement you see here.
