I don't recall us having to do that, but just take it with you in case. Unless it is one of those 400-lb SSN's, in which case I'd rent a jeepney ahead of time.

hi! was talking to my friend and she said that during the medical exam or embassy interview, they will ask about my fiance's social security number? would just want to confirm if it that's the case. thanks so much!

they dont asked for the fiance`s SSN...not even during the interview...the medical thing has no right to ask for the ssn all they need is the eligibity letter from the embassy or from nvc and your passport..ssn is very confidential..and no one should be asking for that except from the one who is holding it...

Hello, as far as I can remember, SSN is not asked... you should not give the number, SSN in the US can be use for identity fraud... that's why when some establishments ask for SSN, they just ask for the last 4 digits, not the whole number.
