yes, the kids are school age. we were planing on filing the i-130 for them after they got here, that way my hubby would be working and we would have the money to do it. i just don't have the money right now to file 3 additional i-130s :crying:

Your husband would need to adjust status from the K3 before he could work or at least obtain EAD. Assuming the children and husband come together the kids COULD delay their status adjustment until later, but delaying will cost an extra $350 in fees for each child under 14. (There's a $350 fee reduction when filing together with a parent, for children under 14.) I guess one option would be to file a stand alone I-765 for your husband so he can work prior to filing all the status adjustments together. That incurs an extra $380 fee one time but that's better than $350 multiple times.

The problem is, actually obtaining K3 and K4 visas is quite likely a pipe dream. You won't know until months from now. If your I-129F is administratively closed, you'll be months into a process that has no way for the children to accompany their parent and be left to file the children's I-130 forms and wait for them to catch up. Tough decisions when money is tight. Lots to consider.
