Hello,

I'm new here to VJ, but have been following for months. I finally created an account.

Anyways, I still have not recieved an approval for my husband after 10 and a half months.

Yes, 10 and a half months, no typo. No touches either, only one on October 3rd, which I believe EVERYONE has had.

At five months and ten days, I put in a service request. A reply recieved in beginning of March, stating that I should hear something in an ADDITIONAL 6 MONTHS. As you can see, the service request was of no help. Standard reply.

Beginning of May, contacted congressman, stated that my file is with an officer, and that I should hear something soon. One month later, same bs, so I just gave up on that.

Also contacted ombudsman, which was of no help. Just recieved my 45 day reply. Stating that my case IS within normal processing times, dated July 12. If they see 10 months as normal processing times, than I don't know what else to do. :bonk::bonk:

So I call USCIS again and let them know that 10 months is two times their normal processing times, and to my surprise, I was allowed another service request. Should be getting letter in 30 days.

ANY help please............... :help::help::help:

I-130 filed on September 8, 2010. I am a USC.

I just can't stand the wait. 8 months and counting without my husband is torture. :crying::crying: I'm heartbroken
