My Fiancee and myself wish to apply for a k1 visa, our worry at this moment is that my Fathers name is not listed on my Birth Certificate, also the

probability of finding this person would be almost impossible.

I am sure that this problem is not an unusual one and would appreciate any help at all in finding out if this would cause any delays or

problems concerning our application, thanks.

Please provide more info if you want assistance.

Start with who are you? The US Citizen of the Alien Beneficiary.

Then tell us which country you're from as this does have an affect on the answers that would be correct for you.

If the birth cert. is an official one, then it is what it is. My son doesn't have a father listed on his also and there was/is no issues.

Thankyou for your reply Bob 4 Anna, I am the "Alien" in this instance and my Fiancee is the U.S Citizen, I am British but living in

Germany,we were not sure if the missing name of my father would cause a problem.
