Hi everyone,

I received notification from NVC that our my wife's interview has been scheduled on July 26 in Ankara, Turkey.

Upon receiving her visa (how long does it usually take to Embassy to issue the visa and send it to the spouse?), when she enters to USA, do I have to be with her?

Or can she come by herself? If she can come by herself, is there anything specific that I and her supposed to be aware of?

Thank you for your helps.

She can come by herself--read the experiences others have had at the POE where she will enter the country. Just click on the POE tab at the top of this page--there is a wealth of information there.

Of course if you have the time and $$ to accompany her, I sure would--it is the beginning of your new life, and what better way than to start it together.
