Hi,

I entered us in 2006 feb on TN status and got married to us citizen in 2008 and got my conditional pr in June 09. My conditions were recently removed and I got my 10 yr gc. My question is does my tn qualify towards 5 year naturalization? Because technically I have been us resident for over 5 years now. I appreciate if some one can answer this. Thanks

You obtained your GC through marriage to a USC. You will be eligible to apply for naturalization 90 days prior to the 3 year anniversary of your LPR status. That applies as long as you are married to the same person. If not, then it's 5 years minus 90 days.

Based on the info you have given you can apply sometime in March 2012.
