No need to feel scared. I assume there is nothing special about the embassy in Amman, that is any different from the embassies in other Arab countries. Same questions, same forms, same procedures. This link might help: http://www.visajourney.com/reviews/index.php?cnty=Jordan&cty=&dfilter=5

Atamanna laka / laki kul al tawfeeq!

There are several people on Visajourney that have gone through the embassy in Amman. The interviews seem to be very individualized. The only thing that I can tell you is to be confindent in your answers and your relationship.

Don't be surprised if they put you in AR. If they tell you that you are approved, but they need additional documents...absolutely expect AR after you send them in. Also, if you get AR...don't expect it to be quick.

There are several people on this site, from Jordan, that are in AR. I am not talking about DC name checks. The Amman embassy tends to call DC name checks AP and internal stuff AR.

I don't want to be Debbie Downer. There are a few people that get their visas quickly....but AR is very common at this embassy. For some reason, A lot of us with experience at this embassy don't seem to talk about it much in the forums.

Waiting.....Waiting....waiting....waiting....and more waiting..........

AR?

AR is Administrative Review

Administrative Review at the Amman embassy is when they are doing internal "stuff" on your case.

Waiting.....Waiting....waiting....waiting....and more waiting..........
