quick 2: questions:

- since the "touch" on may 12 that was the letter for fingerprinting, there is nothing going on ... is this normal? i see that most of you guys already received the letters for the interviews ...

- secondly, how do i know what my field office is? I live in Minnesota and sent my package to phoenix. could anybody tell me? thank you!

Probably it is... you should receive a yellow letter and then the official interview notice letter... depends on your DO and how fast they process letters.

As for which office, you can check on their website https://egov.uscis.gov/crisgwi/go?action=offices.type&OfficeLocator.office_type=LO

scroll down and type in your zip code... it will give you the info.

Same thing here. My last update was on April 25 (when they sent me FP letter). Last month my husband and I called them and she said there was nothing wrong with my case. Few days later I got a yellow letter requesting DL or ID (from state) for interview. It was not an interview letter. This was almost a month ago. Since then, nothing else. I live in MI and sent package to Phoenix too.

Did you add your case to the April filers thread? Take a look there. I'm the last remaining without interview date from Phoenix. lol

hope i did it right ..

Shutdown. Oh no! :(

I saw your post in the April filers thread. See how some had a lot done already. It's frustrating to check online status and see that same date there. :(

If I am not wrong, I don't think MN state government being shutdown would impact the Federally run USCIS offices in MN. Good luck with your case.
