For Yong, Flames or anyone else who has been to the Fairfax office - where is the parking? My husband would like to know in advance.

I have been to the town during my time at Fort Belvoir. I wonder how much the place has changed in the last 20 years. The town was rather depressing back then.

How far is the location from where you live?

The reason I ask is because if it is not too far, I suggest you drive there before your official trip and find the parking lot and an additional emergency parking lot (if you don't want to reply on Google street maps).

Same town - 20 minutes - we have not gone there specifcally - hence my reason for asking.

that's parking for Dunn Loring Metro station--you will get clobbered there for between $4.00 and $5.00 (flat-rate) if there is any space available (usually it's near-packed before 10:00).

If you can take Fairfax County Connector to either Vienna (routes 621,622,623) or West Falls Church (latter I know of, having to go from Reston to Downtown, lots of routes) you can use Metro to Dunn Loring station which is practically across-street from that office.

It looks like there are two parking garages behind the building as well. One looks like it has six floors. That is a lot more parking than they had in San Francisco near their office.

This is exactly what I availed of for Pras' interview.

That is a lot more parking than they had in San Francisco near their office.

And marginally better than at Hopkins Plaza in Balto (where a few church members who wished to attend my own ceremony in 2005 had to avail--I had the "luxury" of parking at Rogers Av Metro Station, Metro'ing downtown to work and simply walking from the office to Hopkins Plaza).
