When I was a teenager I was a little terror, that was 10 years ago or there about.

I have received my Police background cert and it states 'no live trace', now all I was ever arrested for in my youth was a little graffiti twice... so it says on record 'Criminal Damage'.

Do I have to obtain additional paperwork to show them that was what I was arrested for, or at the interview can I simply admit what I did (as it's such a minor thing) and it will be fine?

I'm a little concerned about it.

K1 Process:

  • I-192F: NoA 1 received - March 15, 2011
  • I-192F: NoA 2 received - July 6 - Approved in 113 Days!
  • Packet 3 received - August 1-ish
  • Medical - August 19
  • Packet 3 completed and returned - August 24
  • Packet 3 logged at Embassy - September 21
  • Interview: Oct 26, 2011 - Approved!
  • PoE: Atlanta - November 08
  • Civil Ceremony - December 29

Time : 7 months, 8 days

Adjustment of Status Process:

  • Filing AoS - February 17, 2012
  • NoA 1 received - February 23
  • Case transferred to CSC - March 20
  • Biometrics appointment - March 26
  • Wedding - April 6th
  • RFE October 15th, have until January to send in information.
  • Sent back information - December 5th
  • APPROVED! - December 22nd!

Time : 10 months, 6 days

Total Duration of journey : 1 year, 9 months, 8 days.

For only 1 conviction you should be fine, but it can't hurt to get the MOC (memorandum of conviction) from the court where you were convicted. Just in case the interview officer wants to see how long ago & fine imposed. You can go to the court & order it or send a letter requesting it...no cost & takes about a week to get. My husband was lucky that they printed his while he waited...best of luck at london!

09/30/2011: IV Pkg Sent

10/24/2011: RFE (we dragged our feet from here on)

(forget all this for now, let's go on holiday!)

03/13/2012: NVC CASE COMPLETE!!

04/05/2012: Received interview appt email

06/22/2012: Medical @ Knightsbridge

06/29/2012: Interview 8am-Result: Pending

??/??/????: I601 Filed at Lock-Box

I was never convicted, only reprimanded and warned.

I never went to court, it was a simple hauling to the station followed by a 'yes, I did it, I'm sorry' and a slap on the wrist.

I think you need something. What about a subject access reoort you order from ACPO (police certificate place)? No clue what that is because I'm not British, but I know people have had to order those if their police report said no live trace.
