I just realized this now, we've been together for 9 years (check my timeline below for reference) and I literally have ONE picture with his family in it(I am the petitioner btw). But he has TONS with my family. My parents were strict so I was not allowed to go to his house, so I secretly went there sometimes  and hang out with his family so no pictures were ever taken during the early stages of our relationship. And whenever I do go back to the Philippines for vacation, we were either hanging out with MY FAMILY or our friends. You think this would be an issue for us? I should've taken more pictures with them during my last visit but they're not picture freaks like my family

Any input will be greatly appreciated!

you will be fine IMO...you are going for a K-1 visa and all you have to prove for the petition is that you have met in person within the last 2 years. Just keep good chat/call logs until the interview to show you are still communicating. You can also do snail mail/cards and such as evidence that the relationship is real.

I haven't finished the process, so take my advice with a grain of salt, but I don't have any with his family since he's not very close with them and I don't think there's been many (any?) pictures with my family either. We're just not picture people. We've got a fair amount of pictures of just us in places together though, I think that's probably what counts most. I'm sure it'll be fine if you've got lots of other evidence.

Thank you for the replies  We do have a lot of the other required proof/documents. I just thought that they might find it weird that we can only provide that one picture with his family after so many years of being together, you know. But wth, I'm seeing him in a few weeks so I will definitely take so many pictures with his family that their faces would ache from smiling :content: (just for additional proof)
