We sent in the reply for the RFE 3 weeks ago and still have not heard anything. I see most people get a response in about 10-14 days.

We have given them so much evidence it is not even funny. We live together in Bangkok. I visited her every month for a year and have

sent in all airline boarding passes and passport stamps. We have traveled together around Asia and I sent in our plane boarding passes

for those trips as well. We had our Thai wedding more than a year ago and we sent in several photos of the wedding. More than 400 people

attended the wedding. We will get legally married as soon as we are in the US together. On July 12th, it will be 8 months since we got the

NOA1 letter and we still don't have the NOA2 approval. This is absolutely ridiculous! And yes, we did provide all of the above evidence

with our initial application. It is almost like they don't look at anything we send them. My annual income is about 20 times the minimum, so

I am really getting pissed off by this whole process. I just don't understand why some people get approval in less than 4 months and we are

still waiting after almost 8 months. This system totally sucks!!!

Unfortunately, it takes as long as it takes --

Did your expat status affect your petition? Meaning, questionable roots or domicile in the States?

Did you tell the USCIS that you both were married? Given that you are applying for a K-1 visa which is predicated by not being married? I'm interested to hear how they interpreted that, or if a Thai ceremony simply is not recognized.

Sorry to hear you guys are waiting. Mileage really does vary for folks.

Good luck.
