In Chilpancingo Mexico

This is what happened...He was with his family at a Birthday party for a friend and he said a bunch of guys showed up at the party and started a fight. My fiance ended up in the fight too because a 3 of the guys jumped him at once. He hurt one pretty bad and my fiance got hurt pretty bad too. Now I guess the police are looking for him. :( I don't know if they have any laws about self defense or anything like that. I'm not really familar with any of the Mexican laws and I'm really worried!

Yes thats a bad situation. he has to get a police certificate in the later stages. i guess he should appear in the police station and try to clarify the situation. if he is on the run then wont do good for him.

He's just scared and doesn't want to end up in jail because of the whole thing. I don't know how the police work there but he says they are pretty unfair. And I don't want him in even more trouble for running. I just want to find out what's the worst thing that could happen if he goes to the police.

no other option but to appear in the police. as i mentioned that he needs a police certifiacte for his interview so he can run away. he should hire an attorney before he appears in the court.
