First, congratulations on your NOA 2. It is exciting when you get that piece of paper!

The brief overview is this (I am just now going through this so I am sure someone will correct me if I am a little off)

Now that you have received your NOA 2 your fiance will have to do all the work on packet 3 and packet 4. The consulate will receive the packet from the NVC and will send these packets to your fiance who will have to fill them out completely and send them back. While this is happening fill out the form I 134 and gather recent pay stubs, and get letter from your work stating job status (full time/part time) and wages. If you are above the poverty guidelines this appears to be all the information you need to send.

Your fiance will be able to make an appointment for the interview after packet 3/4 are received at the consulate your fiance will need to have a medical exam done at an approved center that can be found on the packets that they will receive.

If you haven't sent a copy of the entire K1 packet (the one you mailed to the USCIS) then mail your fiance everything in the packet (including any RFE notices and such).

You will also need to send proof of relationship to your fiance so they will have it during the interview.

If you check the K1 Guides and Flow Chart (top of this page) it will give general guidelines.

You can then look at the Embassy website where your fiancee will be interviewed. It will give instructions of what is contain ed in packet 3 and other information about the interview. If you want to start preparing for this follow the requirements as these vary according to the embassy. It also means you don't have to wait around until your fiancee receives packet 3 before getting this information together.

Congratulations on your NOA2!!
