Also trying calling the Visa Specialist in Washington D.C toll-free. Call 202-663-1225. Press Option 1 then Option 0 to speak to a visa specialist. (Do not waste your money calling the Embassy).

We are located at the U.S. Consular Section, at the corner of Calle Cesar Nicolás Penzón and Avenida Maximo Gomez. The U.S. Consular Section is located across from the Teatro Nacional.

Hours of Operation

The Santo Domingo Field Office is open to the public on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM. You must arrive prior to 7:30 AM.

Emergencies are handled on a case-by-case basis.

The office is closed on Dominican and American holidays.

Visiting the office in person

Appointments:

An appointment is necessary to visit the Santo Domingo office. An appointment can only be made by calling 809-221-2117, ext. 6608 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

Walk-ins:

The Santo Domingo office no longer accepts walk-ins.

Parking & Handicap Accessibility

Parking is available near the Consular Section.

Accessibility for those with special needs is available.

Paying Fees

Fees for applications and petitions are listed on the Forms section of the USCIS website. The fees for all applications and petitions submitted to this office must be paid in cash, U.S. dollars, Dominican pesos,credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover) to the consular cashier.
