Hello everyone, I'm new here in the forum and would love to help, I received an immigrant visa based on family reunification, my parents filed their request for me, about 8 years ago. When I was visiting my parents I had overstay a year and a bit, did my first entry I would have problems because of her overstay?

So you overstayed in the past, but you now got an immigration visa? Did you declare the overstay on the forms (where you have to list all your visits to the USA)? If so, then they have forgiven the overstay and you are ok. This is very unusual without a waiver needing to be filed, so consider yourself fortunate!

If you did not declare the overstay, or you have not had your visa interview yet then yes, there will be issues with the overstay. An overstay of over a year triggers a ten year ban.

Visa immigrant has been approved and got the passport back from the consulate, for that question forms of entry and exit, I wrote that I do not remember because that has passed since 8 years, and in an interview said nothing, whether the mere issuance of a visa that means that will be a problem at an airport and what the procedure at the entrance first?

Hi, I overstayed for a few days in Germany (tourist Visa) I accompanied my grandma to visit our aunt (invitation) in 2010. Will this affect my US visa application? What do I need to have so that I will be cleared in my interview?
