I live in Tulsa Oklahoma I have contacted the Senator and Congressman. I have talked by phone and sent them e-mails. I signed the paper to give them permission to inquire about my case and status. Any one knowing who could help me here would be apprecated.

Maybe it's time to call another location of your senator's office?

Hello everyone, I have a question I want to ask of everyone here who feels they received help from the Senator or Congressman or any officials. If you think you have received help from any official office please state what office helped and if it was a Republican or a Democrat that help you. I have gotten know where by asking for help and all I have asked were Republicans. So what up with that. I am a Repubican but it don't seem any of them are really fighting for me yet.

Aren't our 2 U.S. Senators from California both Democrat?

The reason why they don't put so much effort to help you is because your case isn't even overdue yet. I know it's hard to wait and see all those VSC 25 day approvals, but Bush has set a 6-month adjudication processing timeframe. That's the SLA (service level agreement) that USCIS is trying to achieve. Even after 6 months, you have to wait another 30 days before someone will really look into matters for you. So none of your electec reps will put that much effort in for you as they can't help you cut in line. Yes, that sounds harsh, but that's essentially what you're asking for if you want help before 6 months. You're asking your rep to help you cut in line.

But given your timeline, I'm willing to bet real money that your case is right on the verge of being approve. I strongly believe you'll be receiving a notice in the next 2 weeks.

Best wishes!

==March 29... NOA1 from California==

I think you'll get a decision before 9/29/06
