Hello Henia,

If anyone knew how absolutely beautiful Tipaza was, they would rush right there. I remember going there in January of 2006 and driving down the main street of Tipaza and seeing some kind of sculpture garden behind a wall with all these antiquities there. I also remember everything being this amazing acqualine color.. kind of a Tunisian blue. The monument of Tipaza was simply breathtaking. When I was leaving by Taxi, I remember going through the triangle and its hard to believe that in the 1990s it was just so horrible in this area. Its so lovely and green. I am so jealous of your ability to get up to Kabilya so easily. The only place more beautiful that I have seen in Algeria was Tlemcen. The tower of Mansoura, the lush green fields. There are majestic jewish cemeteries that are not vandalised like many other parts of Algeria, there are hanging jasmine, the mosque of Sidi Boumediene and its simply beautiful inside with a mystic scent of old oils burning. I wish you would take pictures of the stores in Tipaza and show daily life there.. Maybe some day on one of your blogs

Hugs
