02-09-2011 > NOA1 email & SMS notification

02-12-2011 > NOA1 hardcopy received via mail (official date on NOA1 is 02-07-11)

05-17-2011 > NOA2 email & SMS notification (approved in 99 days from NOA1 date)

06-08-2011 > Paid Visa fee @ BPI bank (scheduled interview appointment online the same day)

Hi Good luck on your interview. I just had mine last June 27 and it went pretty well. Just very few questions and I was on my way home at around 9:30. Just asnwer all questions honestly and pay attention to your number because it'll flash in random. Do not bring any gadgets, food, perfume, USB. The people outside embassy who's selling ballpens and what ever will tell you that embassy will ask you to resched your interview.. dunno how true. You can leave those outside but pay 150, same people who will tell you that you will be resched. so If no one will accompany you, better leave those things at home or in your hotel room. Also please don't forget to eat breakfast, because even I ate breakfast but because of the tension and impatience, it really made me hungry. Good LUck to you Guys, God Bless. Have a mass scheduled on the day and time of your interview. I went to the church before I flew to Manila and offered a mass for intention on the day and of my interview.

Hi!

I'm a newbie in this site. I just had my interview last June 15. I wasn't given a visa yet but a 221g form saying that I still need to submit some documents. I already submitted the documents last week through their courier service. I'm waiting for the notification from USEM. Some tips, make sure that all your documents are complete. Make sure you have important documents with you such as your petitioner's IRS and W-2s most recent ones at least 3 years. If you have the original copies, much better. As the applicant, you should have all clearances and certificates needed like NBI, Police, Birth, CENOMAR. Just be yourself and smile all the time, if you can. :) And don't be afraid to ask the consul questions if you need clarifications. But most of all, try to get enough sleep the day before your interview (although it will be very difficult :lol: ).

God bless your interview! One last very important thing, ask God to guide you and give you wisdom to say the right words during your interview. :)
