Hello everyone,

We're coming up on the 5 month time frame (7/9) since I received the NOA1. I have one touch shortly after they received it. Hopefully we should be hearing something anytime now. It does say that our case should've been adjudicated between 6/1 and 6/16, but I know it doesn't always go as planned. Hoping to see something positive in my mailbox before July... I just say to myself that this is the longest part of the process. (hopefully!) :) Hang in there everyone else!

Hey, I would call USCIS and talk to Tier 2 agent directly if I were you. The website and phone system doesn't work well - won't give you the latest update. My case was approved last Friday and website/phone system still shows Initial Review. Tier 2 will give you the latest status.

10FEB11: FedEx I129F Packet to Lewisville, TX

14FEB11: NOA1 "Received Date"

18FEB11: Touched

17JUN11: NOA2 hard copy

19JUL11: NVC Received

21JUL11: Embassy Received

25JUL11: Packet 3 Sent from Embassy

03AUG11: Emailed packet 3 to Embassy

07SEP11: Interview

I'll do that, thank you. That would be nice if it's been approved and they've yet to send it out in the mail... I wonder if that's happened before? :)

For some reason VSC is kind of slow comparing with CSC. VCS is almost two months behind from CSC. I hope they will catch up soon. However since you are almost close to the 5 month USCIS time-frame, you should have to consider calling the USCIS or set up appointment to your local office through InfoPass.

Yes, it's too bad VSC is slower than CSC. I found that out when I was in the process of submitting, and it wasn't fun to read:( Anyhow, hopefully since I am so close things will progress positively. I did just check out InfoPass as I haven't heard about that before. What is the purpose if you can call the USCIS? Get more detailed info? I know that sometimes the USCIS doesn't really give, or cannot give the info we want to hear. So I would think so.
