Hi all, new to the boards.

My girl and I are applying for a k1 visa. Now my perm address is in florida, I am a florida resident, and all my important documents(mail, taxes, etc) all go to Florida. However I've worked and lived in new York for the past 3 years. So here is my question, do I use my ny addy or Florida? I plan to return to Florida as that's where my family is, I'm just afraid that if I use that address and they find I work in new York they'll deny our visa because of falsified eviedence or something.

Any help is appreciated and sorry for typo's my iPhone auto corrects horrible.

Thanks!

I would suggest you use the address where you are getting your mail. When I applied I was in the process of moving from one state to another. I filed my 1-130 or I129 in your case in one state. Then I filed change of address to another state when case got to NVC. If you are living and working in New York, you should use that address. Then when you move back to Florida, update your records with the USCIS or NVC depending on where your case is at the time. Best of luck.
