Cosponser can retired mother be one??

My mom is retired

She get a retirement check for 784 a month i know that is not enough.. she filed 3 years of tax returns..

however she has a house that is her own it..

she has assets such as money in the bank/retirement/ and money for when she was in a bad accident

Can she help us out based on her income and assets??

Timeline

Retirement income--yes

Savings and other liquid assets--yes

House--no

But the CO will not count everything since she almost certainly needs her savings and other cash to live on--her pension is quite small
