Embassy made a mistake on VISA

My fiancé made it through the physical and interview at the US Embassy in Manila. We got our visa after 5 days; the problem is they misspelled my name on her visa. Has anyone had this happen and if so how long did it take to fix?????

Does not matter how long does it take to fix, you need to get the issue fixed to avaid future problems.

Normally things like this dont take long they would cancel the visa with mistake and add a new one with correct information, your fiance does not have to go thru another interview or anything.

The Visa has been returned to the Embassy so they can do what they need to do to fix it. I would rather get it fixed now than wait for a problem later. Thanks for the info.

same here they missed my middle name on my visa i called USEM and they asked me to go USEM at window 42 thats where they accept visa correction they asked me to live my contact info.after 4 working days they called me and said its ready for pick up.. DOnt worry it would not going to take too long specially if you will going to tell them that you had brought a ticket and your flight is near so they will rush doing your visa..
