I was wondering if anybody who has received an NOID/NOIR from USCIS would mind sharing what was asked from them for additional evidence. Thank you!

Mine did not ask for specific documents. They wrote on there what the CO said and we had to send evidence to the contrary.

Just make sure when you send your evidence, that you are sending enough so that you are not leaving any doubt. You only get the one chance. The other thing to remember is to watch for it. Mine did not show up on the USCIS website and we only had 30 days to respond from the day that USCIS sent it. It took 8 days to come in the mail, so it left us less than 3 weeks to do everything we needed to do and get the response back to them.

We had gathered some stuff, but we sent additional documents once we received it in the mail.

Waiting.....Waiting....waiting....waiting....and more waiting..........

Thanks for taking the time to answer me :)

It is very stressful going through this process because people don't really post the details about it.

The process is the same until you get to the embassy. Once it gets there the process can change. I had asked the NVC what to expect and what the embassy would need. They told me that they didn't know because every embassy handles it differently. I finally emailed the embassy. I had to email several times and get very specific in my emails because I kept getting different answers from the people who respond to the emails. They still did not tell me everything. At the interview they told my husband that he was approved, but they needed one more document from me. Once I sent it, they put us in AR and said it's because anytime they get a new document they have to review it.

It is great that Moroccan-Wife was able to let you know about Monica because she can give you the insight on the Casa embassy once it gets there, so hopefully you won't end up in my same situation.

Waiting.....Waiting....waiting....waiting....and more waiting..........
