Hello Everyone,

My husband is scheduled for an interview on 22nd june 2011 (mumbai India). I have 2 question regarding interview.

1. Do I have to submit 2010 tax return? If yes, then I have 1040 form for 2010 is it okay if I submit this or do I have to get a transcript from IRS?

(I am asking this question because in packet 4 they said we need to submit original documents of 2010 tax return)

2. We dont have a bunch of our marraige pics together. beacause both of our families are very religious and also we are not allowed to take pics or shoot a video coz its not in our religion. but, we still managed to get 3-5 pics of us together. Is it okay to show couple of pics at the time of interview or do i have to show a album of wedding pics?

I am very tensed because we dont have more pics of us together. i just dont want the embassy to make a big issue on the pics however, we have our phone records and e-mail chat which we will be presenting at the time of interview?

Please guys Do let me know the answers of these questions. I would be very grateful to all of you...

thanks and looking forward for replies.

Yes you should have the 2010 taxes. 1040 is ok, and you should take the previous 2 or 3 years of tax returns with you also. transcripts or copies of the return are ok. Pictures will be a concern. Have you made previous trips that you have pictures from? We were light on pictures, but had 2 or so from each of the 5 trips I have made before the interview so it was ok. They like to see a range of pictures from mulitple trips rather than a bunch of pictures from one trip.

I think you need to go through the povery of household guideline which (I-864p) form. look at the sponsor's household size and 125% poverty line. if your are above the poverty line then u are fine if not then u need to do something.
