HELP WITH UNDERSTANDING RFE I-693

Hey Guys,

I received 2 RFE, one for I-864 and one for I-693 to be submitted within 87 days. My problem is, can someone please shed some light on what this statement means on the letter:

**Submit your medical with this letter. Do NOT hold your medical until your I-485 interview**

Does this mean I should do it NOW and submit it within the 87days, or does it mean I should WAIT until I get my interview date to do it?

Appreciate any answer. So confused and thanks in advance.

What did you send to them initially? Definitely send it now, together with the RFE letter.. I had an RFE for the I-693 too, though it was not worded like that. Goodluck! :)

My Journey:

We met through a study-abroad program in Shanghai, China in August of 2009

We got engaged March of 2010

I received my K1 VISA in 6 months (June-December 2010)

We were married 04/02/2011
I received my conditional 2-year greencard (AOS) in 2.5 months with no interview (April-June 2011)

Our son was born 02/03/2013

I received my masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology 04/17/2013

I received my 10-year greencard (ROC) in 3 months with no interview (March-June 2013)

My husband returned from deployment 06/20/2013

My naturalization journey took 4 months (April-August 2014)

I became a US citizen on 08/01/2014

Received passport in 3 weeks (regular processing)

Thank u! My lawyer initially filed the I-485, I-130 and I-765. After she sent them I realized that the evidence that they are now requesting usual goes with it. Any how, I'm just happy USIS accepted it and are now asking for RFE and not a flat out DENIAL :-)

I think your lawyer needs to read the instructions more closely before he charges someone for his work... it is not usually goes but MUST go with the initial packet...

I know right!! I was so mad!! So because of the missing initial evidence...my case is now on hold...GREAT!! I'm just happy that the outcome wasn't worse
