Stupid question of the day but is there a website we should be logging into that shows a status of our visa and what to do next? I logged into the immigrationvisa.state.gov and show both invoices paid. I submitted the AOS(and got a reply that we weren't set up on electronic processing but im pretty sure we did that).

Now nothing for the last week. Just wondering if I should be calling in to inquire or if there is an online status site i can go to and see what's going on? I hate to be wasting time waiting for them if they are waiting for me for something.

What country does the beneficiary live in? That will determine whether you are elibable for EP. And what visa type did you file for? If you are at the NVC stage, then there isn't really a way to track where you are in the process. Have you already paid the fees online?

if you wish to do electronic processing, you must OPT IN (usually, unless you are homed to a country where it's mandatory).

Note anyone can do online payment processing, but sending AOS and IV electronically is limited to those countries that participate in the EP program.

ETA - ok - so yer from Canada. Follow Saylin's Canada NVC Guide on the wiki, you'll be golden.

Remember - payment processing and forms submittal not so tightly meshed, can still OPT IN at this point.
