I called today and was able to get our case number from NVC. My main question is what can we do now for the K1 visa? Can she go to the Doctor? Do we have to wait to hear from the embassy to do the packet 3. It is on the website so we know the forms to do. Thank you for any help you can give. Daniel

I don't know if it is the same at all countries, but for China, the visa is only good for 6 months from the time of the medical exam so doing it early isn't a good option. Best bet is to gather all the things you will need for the NVC/interview step. Police certificate, financial documents and everything else. Write an updated Evolution of Relationship letter and go through the guides here to double check that you have everything you need.
