I just filed for my NOA1 so it shouldn't come up soon but I am still wondering about it:

I did not have a job the past few years as I was a full time student. In January of this year I got quite a nice job at an accounting firm where I will make well above the minimum this year. My employer will have no problem writing a letter for me and I will have absolutely no problem providing pay stubs proving my income. My only concern is that I will not have previous year's tax return. Should that present a problem? Any advice?

For China? Not sure but for me it wasn't an issue. I only had tax returns for 2010. I gave them those transcripts along with a letter from my boss, bank account letter showing how much I had saved away and every pay stub I had since I began my job. Went fine for me.

So long as you can prove you have a job now that will put you above 125% you should be fine.
