My visa got approved last thursday and they said my passport should be mailed through DHL the same day. Its Monday and nothing has arrived yet, I keep checking DHL site to see the status but it says the same thing from when I sent it out which was Successfully delivered at the consulate. My question is, am i missing anything here? how exactly am i suppose to get it back? I got the waybill from when i sent it the reference number from the CSC website. Is this all i need to get it back..does anyone know how this works? any help would be greatly appreciated..thanks

What consulate are you dealing with? Each one has different procedures they use for delivering/picking up the visa. Double check the consulate's website to see what it says about visa delivery.

My wife is dealing with a similar type of issue. she became citizen of canada a week before the interview and since we didnt know which passport they would need at the time of interview, we took her pakistani passport along with us. Though we found out during interview that we needed her Canadian passport for US consulate to stamp visa on. Though her visa was approved on spot the only thing pending was the passport which was posted to them via DHL the very next day and it was received by the consulate on wednesday. I'm just wondering how long does it normally take from that point onwards for US consulate in Montreal to stamp visa on the passport and mail it back. Thanks in advance.

US CONSULATE IN MONTREAL..when i called them they said its now DHL's responsibility and when i call DHL they tell me i need tracking information from the consulate like a diff tracking number or something..so im not really sure whats going on..

Go on the Canada forum, there's a bunch of people that seem to be having the same issue with DHL... They'll be able to help...
