I remember reading somewhere on one of the government's websites that they recommend you put all the documents in a specific order because it makes the process easier for them. Now I can't find that site. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

Also, is this Juarez specific or is it the case for basically anywhere?

Those instructions are for immigrant visas, such as a spousal (IR-1/CR-1) visa, and do not pertain to you.

You need to look at these instructions: http://ciudadjuarez.usconsulate.gov/root/pdfs/pk1iv.pdf

There is no certain order, though I suppose you can put your forms on top, like the 2 unsigned copies of the 156 that they will have you sign in front of them, the 156K and the DS-260. After those, you can put the CDJ-402, included in the K-1 instructions link I posted above. It is a letter of intent that you also sign there in front of them. Then, I suppose you would have your financial papers and birth certificate and such. Like I said, no order to follow really.

I couldn't find what the CDJ-402 is. What's that?
