Hello everyone :)

I'm residing in Manitoba, Canada.

For the medical examination and interview, do I have to travel to Vancouver to have them done?

also, I've been residing in Canada since 18 and never stayed longer than 6 months back home.

Do I have to go back to my home country to get the police certificate? or only a name check from RCMP is good?

hmmmm, I haven't filed anything yet but kinda concern about these questions.

Thank you sooo much for your help!

Good luck everyone :)

Cheers,

Yukah

You need a doctor that is approved by the Consulate. Their list includes "British Columbia and the Yukon Territory".

There is a Winnipeg Consulate. You might contact them directly and see if they have a list of approved doctors in Manitoba.

Can you do your interview in Winnipeg, too?

Care,

Bill

You will interview in Vancouver. Im not sure how sticky they are on where you do the medical aslong as its with the authorised docter. However, the docters wont give you an examination date until you have your pkg4 with your interview date. So it might be easier for you to do the medical in Vancouver anyways. It seems to me that they - the drs - try to scheduale your medical the day of +/- 1 of the interview.

As for your criminal check. Yes, you must have one done for every country you have lived in for more than 6 months as of the age of 16. I always go on the way side of caution and get all the information that I can rather than not have it at all.

No you can only interview in Vancouver or Montreal depending on where you live.

You can only have your medical in Vancouver, Toronto or Montreal.

Vancouver medicals are done at Woking Medical.

You need a police report from your home country as well as from Canada.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.
