Hi...again!

I finally received my "Packet 3"...yay...and scheduled the interview for July 7...yay...but now it's crunch time!

Form DS-156K states "The following documents must be attached in order to apply for a fiance(e) nonimmigrant visa" and one of the bullet points is "Evidence of Engagement to Fiance(e)".

My question is, what have others submitted to fulfill this requirement? I plan on attaching:

1. "Intent to marry" letters for both beneficiary and petitioner in both English and Spanish. This will be the same letter I attached to the I-129F packet only with a recent date (July 4, 2011).

2. Ticket stubs and itineraries from the times I traveled to Mexico to visit my fiance

3. Skype screen shots

4. Text message screen shots from my IPhone

5. Pictures of my fiance and I

Would this be good enough? I feel this proves "Ongoing Relationship" not so much "Evidence of Engagement to Fiance(e)"...

Any recommendations on what to attach??

Thanks in advance!

  • 05.17.2011: Packet 3's date on letter (so it appears my letter was written before it was received at the Consulate...)

As for me, i have the Evidence of Ongoing Relationship and Genuine Engagement in one folder. For the engagement, I have my engagement ring receipt and certificate; a few engagement pictures; letter of intent, his and mine :) Ongoing Relationship, have text logs, chat logs, sample chats and emails, cards, receipts or pictures of gifts he sent you, money transfer receipts (yes, our embassy doesnt frown upon on those  ) Those itineraries are proofs that you met prior to the petition, not genuine engagement, what i think anyway :)
