thanks we haven't moved yet so we opted for the online as it was quick and simple and hubby was busy studying for work training so we will try those first.....we asked for return transcripts not the account ones is that ok?

Yup return transcripts is what you want. The account transcripts show any later adjustments made to your return after you filed. So unless you've amended your tax return, the return transcripts are what you need!

Did anyone get approved with just a copy of 1040? I did not send the tax transcripts from IRS. Now I am wondering if I will get a RFE. I did make a visit to local IRS office and got the transcripts for the past 3 years and now I am wondering if there is any way i can send USCIS these transcripts to accompany my case docs or should I just wait for their decision.

You can't send any documents unless they ask for it. All you can do is wait and see if you get an RFE or not.
