they won't give any adults shots at the clinic, if they even do, they won't give all of them. i also lost my immunization card and has to be doing them all over again. i was recommended by a nurse at the clinic to go to the immunization services on eureka road in cross roads kingston.the shots are like half the price you would get them for at a private doc r during the medical.i take two per month as they have to be at least a month apart.i have only two left now to be fully immunize and ready for my medical.

They won't give adults shots at a normal clinic you mean? Did the nurse at the first clinic you went to give you the recommendation for the immnization clinic? I wonder if there's other locations for a immunization services clinic? Fiance is near Ochi... hmmm.

Thanks for the reply, staceluvyou, what shots are they giving you?

While good advise - She is getting advice from people with experience with the Jamaican medical that the blood titre will NOT work and is not an option.

Dealing with Jamaica, there are four options:

1, Have your medical records

2. Go to your school and see if you can obtain a copy of your immunization records

3. Go to the clinic, prior to your medical, and obtain all the shots

4. Show up at the medical without any of the above, and pay an arm and a leg for the shots.

because i had no immunization card, i had to take them all over, which is good, the only one i did not get again was the bcg. yes the nurse at the local clinic where i got my shots when i was a baby, and down by ministry of health they also reccommend i go to the immunization clinic also. no they don't give all of them at the normal clinic. let him start taking them from now, he will get a new immunization card with all his shots up to date.i don't know if there is any other branches in ochi but i am going back this friday for my final two so i will ask for you.
