no u dont need any proof of ur relationship... but make sure u send in a photocopy of her US passport... proving that she is a citizen of US... Front and Back will work...

I m sending photocopy of Nutralization certificate? Is that ok or still now i need to send passport photocopy?

I have a question regarding PCC.

I am from Gujarat.

I lived in Pune, Maharashtra from Oct 2005 to June 2008. However, I did not stay continuously for 6 months. Once in every 3 to 4 months I came back to my hometown. Do I still need the police certificate from Pune ?

I know that I will have to obtain PCC from passport office and local police in Gujarat.

I am confused whether PCC from Pune is required or not ?

I have gone through the relevant documents. I understand that only one Local PCC is required (from the Police authority that has jurisdiction over the city/ town/ village of the present address mentioned in Item 13 of Part I of DS-230).

And additional PCC from the foreign countries where one lived after turning 16 and lived for more than an year.

So if your address on DS-230 Part I, Item 13 is of a city/town/village in Gujarat, then you need Local PCC from that Police Authority. All the best.

12/28/11 - Received SSN (applied on 12/20/11, as we didn't get based on DS-230 options)
11/28/11 - Received Green Card (Expires on 10/30/13) - Welcome Letter on 11/17/11
10/30/11 - POE - Houston, TX

Chennai Consulate (40 days)
10/28/11 - Received Visa papers and Passport at VFS
10/25/11 - Interview Cleared Successfully (Spouse was not allowed in)

NVC: (90 days from NOA2 to Consulate)
08/31/11 - Case Completed (Interview 10/25/11) - Received at Chennai on 09/19/11
07/22/11 - NVC Case Number

USCIS: (92 days)

6/21/11 - NOA2 (NOA1 on 3/25/11) - took a month to get to NVC
3/21/11 - I-130 sent to USCIS Lockbox, Chicago.
